"The best place in Oz!" Says Jonny C
Absolutely stunning apartment with some of the best views in Oz! Spacious, modern and clean with all the facilities to truly make your stay special. I would highly recommend and I’m sure we will be coming back here for years!
"Simply super" says Ferenc M
It was simply super, exactly what we were looking for, both the location and the quality of the apartment (especially the kitchen)

"Perfect view" Says Erik T
This is an excellent accomodation with a lot of space, a perfect view over the village and right in the centre of Oz with all facilities especially for (small) children very nearby.

"Great apartment in superb location." Andrew says...
Just got back from a week-long family holiday in this fabulous resort. A hidden (but expanding) gem of a village which links in to the Alpe D'Huez pistes. The apartment has a run on its doorstep that goes straight through the village and either down to the Putran lift (to Alpe D'Huez) a 1 minute ski away or the Alpette lift to Vaujany a walk up for 50metres. We had a real mix in the family from 4 to 73 and it was a great hit for them all. A non-skier who loved the views and the local cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. A seasoned snowboarder who never got bored with the variety of pistes. Three small children 8,6&4 all at different abilities, ESF worked well for them all ( for half the day) and is located next to the apartment building. The Marcel's farm piste at Alpe D'Huez was the highlight but the green runs in Oz were a great starting point ( as was the ESF garden for the 4year old which we could look at from the apartment). Grandad enjoyed the basic green and blue slopes. Mum and Dad found the facilities and activities in Oz made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable and about as hassle free as it is possible to be with three children. The apartment was a good size and great quality. A fabulous balcony with great views. We went with 8 of us and it was easily big enough. There are three bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The ski locker system worked well. We used Le cabane for our ski hire - smaller selection than others but worked out well - close by, good service and no huge queues on hiring out or returing. We stocked up on food etc in the supermarket 10 miles or so before the resort but the little supermarket in Oz has most things that you will need. Overall it was a great holiday - lots of fabulous memories. Could go on for ages! a great family location. (February 2017)

"Lovely apartment in beautiful alpine village." Rob says...
The apartment was very well appointed and well-maintained with all the luxuries you could ask for. The location was perfect being 20m from ski school, a lift ride to the bakery, 30m from the supermarche, 20m from two ski rental shops and no more than 100m from both ski lifts. It looks over the pretty village of Oz so you can see when the gondola starts operating in the morning. The gondola gives you a 15 minute ride to the main Alp d'Huez slopes with slopes all the way back home. The village is quiet but with all the amenities you could require. We will definitely return!!
"Perfect for a family holiday." Juliette says...
The apartment was perfect for our family of 5. It was very well positioned and even though there was not a lot of snow this year it was still very convenient for shops, restaurants and gondola's. It had the best equipped kitchen I have ever experienced in a rental place and a brilliant DVD collection that kept all of us happy for the week. It felt spacious and it was great to have a good sized dinning table we could all eat at. We would love to return and would recommend it whole heartedly. Mark the owner was great from start to finish helping us out with all sorts of things. The apartment is clearer well taken car of and all linen and towels were of a very comfortable standard. It's a great place for a family holiday.
"Fantastic apartment, immaculate, perfect location." Karen says...
What a beautiful place to stay, the apartment is ski in, ski out with views of the mountains from two sides of the living area. Clean, well equipped, warm, comfy. 5 adults stayed for the week and we had plenty of room. The only reason I wouldn't recommend the apartment is that I don't want it to get fully booked!!

"Best Oz accommodation we've had." Ann says...
We ski from Oz en Oisans every February with our two daughters and over the years we have stayed in five or six different chalets/apartments, but this one has proved to be the best so far. As with this one, it's possible to ski in/out of most places in Oz but it's location, in the very centre of the village, means that everything you need is on your doorstep. The kids enjoyed nipping downstairs in their slippers to get bread and croissants from the bakery each morning and a meal in the Poutran restaurant on the ground floor meant not having to put on boots and trudge through the snow (though I wore trainers, not slippers!). Ski school meets right outside the apartment and the main shop is just opposite; a twenty second walk. This year we came with a friend and her daughter and this apartment was spacious enough for us all. It is very well equipped with good utensils and cookware. Dishwasher and especially washing machine are always good to have. Bonuses that other places may not have include the whirlpool bath (great to relax in after a long day on the slopes), a very good DVD collection (always a hit with the kids!) a basket full of different electrical adaptors, large bags you could use for shopping, first aid and sewing kit etc, etc. It seems that everything you need is here! Mark was very helpful with booking/information and returned our deposit very quickly after our holiday. Picking the keys up on arrival is simple, as is leaving them if you have a very early departure, as we did. The reason we stay in Oz is that it is a lovely, small village with a few restaurants and bars but it is quiet at night. No cars can drive through the centre but you can ski through. So it's brilliant if you have kids. It's connected to the Grande Domaine ski area but here you don't have the very long queues to get up to the pistes that you sometimes do in Alpe D'Huez. Also the skiing between Oz and Vaujany is beautiful and less busy. We only got back last week and we are looking forward to booking this apartment again for next year.
"5* ski accommodation in a superb location" Amanda says...
We stayed in the apartment for a week in January 2015. From the minute we enquired about the ski apartment to when we went, Mark was really helpful and answered all our questions. The process of booking was easy. The apartment is by far the nicest we have stayed in whilst skiing. Forget being cramped, this apartment is very spacious. The views from the main balcony are superb and we ate lunch a few times in the sun on the balcony. You can easily do this as the apartment is really ski in/out! The apartment has everything you need and really is a home from home experience. I honestly can not find one thing to fault! Our son who is 3 loved the apartment. There was a nice area where he could play and lots of DVDs were provided in the apartment. The master bedroom is downstairs and upstairs is a large double and then the children's bedroom with a bathroom on both levels. The main selling point for us was the location of the apartment. It is in the heart of the resort, the supermarket is literally 30 seconds walk and the bakery is underneath the apartment. The apartment is in the middle of the 2 main ski lifts, both are within 1 minutes walk (or ski down). The best bit for us in terms of convenience was the location next to the children's nursery and children's ski lesson area. This meant we could do drop off/pick up so easily from the apartment to the nursery. The nursery was absolutely fantastic with the child care they provided. It is very rare to find such a nice spacious apartment in the heart of a ski resort. We loved it so much we have booked up already for next year!

"Fantastic ski holiday in this perfectly located apartment!"
We stayed in this apartment the first week of January this year [2014]. From our first communication with Mark the receipt of our deposit was very professional. The directions were spot on and acquiring the keys to the apartment was stress free.
The apartment itself had everything you could possibly want / need for a week of self-catering. The ESF is just across the slope so took seconds to get to our ski lessons. There is a wonderful patisserie on the ground floor of the apartment building that we used every morning for fresh baguette.
We ate in the flat most lunches as it was so easy to ski in and out. Oz itself is very family friendly and easy access to the larger ski areas. The boot room is just downstairs so no lugging skis, boots, etc..after a day of skiing.
Overall, we had a fantastic week made even more relaxing by staying in such a great place. We are already planning our next holiday to this fab place!
Marcin from Poland says...“Absolutelly fantastic offer” (Feb 2014)
Apartment is one of the offers which can be highly recommended. Everything is exactly like described in advertisement. Flat is comfortable, well equiped and very close to ski slopes. Arrival instructions are precise and detailed.
>Last but not least the owner is very kind and helpful.

Braam and family stayed in December 2012
Our family stayed in the apartment during the Christmas week of 2012. The apartment and Oz village are great because of the following: Beautiful views, ski in/out facility, sizeable ski lockers in basement, the amenities of the village doesn’t necessitate using your car for shopping, my son enjoyed Father Christmas (with his support staff) and his deer coming to pay a visit on Christmas day, family orientated, easy access to Alp d’Huez ski resort via one gondola. Also, the mini ski area (passed the ski lift) includes a magic carpet ski lift and mini slope which helped a lot to teach our little one to ski and NO ski pass is required.

What an amazing holiday Les Myrtilles was for me, my husband and our 2 kids aged 9 & 5. We usually stay in hotels in Austria that are close to ski school to make those busy mornings easier. But we couldn't get any closer this year! The ski locker room was outside the ESF office, with just a 5 metre ski down to the meeting point. Then for us it was a ski down to the Alpe d'Huez gondola, or a 5 min walk up to the Vaujany gondola (nice big green practice run up there and its very quiet) with a great red all the way back down to the back of the apartment. The skiing here is fantastic, loads of choice, all get you back to the apartment. We also spent ages sledging in the special area on the nursery slopes, or outside one of the bars near the gondola. Kids were in heaven! The flight to Grenoble and taxi transfer was without a hitch, the transfer was 320 euros return, a lot but it was just the 4 of us. Getting into the pedestrian only village in a lift was different, but again very close to the apartment. Wheelie bags for us next time though.....The apartment is brilliantly located. Well stocked with kitchen equipment (loads of crockery and cutlery). There are some condiments, which made cooking easy. There is a good, small supermarket, a lovely patisserie (gorgeous baguettes and tarts). We did have takeaway pizza twice, but mostly I cooked pasta and we stayed in watching movies from the extensive library, and a few kids ones we brought too. There was plenty of space for all our clothes, bags, snow boots, coats, salopettes etc. big dining table next to the huge window/balcony overlooking the village. The kids started the week in separate rooms, then went in together (after watching Jurassic park.....)
Great upstairs rooms, yes they have sloped ceilings but they are just for sleeping, and the kids thought they were great! We also spent most nights in the whirlpool bath, which I particularly loved. There was loads of very hot water, and the apartment was nice and warm too when you got out.The village at night was very quiet, but I think we chose a quiet week, and it meant the slopes were perfect! One thing I did miss, the Austrian food and drink. But would I stay in this apartment again? Absolutely I would. It was like a home from home and the owners communication/information has been helpful and timely throughout. We would wholeheartedly recommend Les Myrtilles and the village of Oz en Oisans to all families with children or groups who don't want/need nightlife. Brilliant!
Perfect place to stay for a family holiday in beautiful Oz" says Cathy (Stayed April 2013)
We couldn't have been happier with Les Myrtilles as a base for our first skiing holiday with our three young children and their granny. It is a very pleasant and spacious apartment with a fantastic south-facing balcony for relaxed sunny lunches at home. Situated right in the centre of the Village, you couldn't ask for a better location for the ski lifts, supermarket or ski school. The apartment is so well equipped, there was no need that wasn't met. The owner Mark has been accommodating and helpful to us in every way, before, during and since our stay. The best way I can describe how happy we were with this holiday is to tell you that we booked again for next year as soon as we got back. Thank you Mark.
"Wonderful apartment, great in summer too" says Jane (stayed in July 2013)
We stayed here in July and had a fantastic time. The apartment is excellent - furnished to a very high standard, more spacious than we had imagined, and very well located for lifts, restaurants, the shop and boulangerie. Oz is a very good base for a summer holiday, with excellent walking and cycling on your doorstep. WIth no traffic in the village itself it is very quiet and friendly, and ideal for children. Would thoroughly recommend for a summer holiday and as skiiers ourselves can see it is also perfect for a winter break.
Stunning location, suberb accomodation, highly recommended" Says Judy (stayed July 2013)
From making enquiries about this property the help, advice and support was exemplary. The owner, Mark, found out about all sorts for us in advance, Nikki, who manages the propery is wonderful, nothing is too much trouble! The area is superb and views from the appartment are stunning. The appartment itself is so well equiped and so beautifully appointed we were sorry to leave! Everything you could possibly need is there, from a sticking plaster, needle and thread etc through to electric BBQ, coffee maker etc. Wonderful! Fresh bread every morning from the Patisserie just outside the block. Would highly recommend for skiing in Winter (not something we do) or as in our case, the mountain biking and beatiful surroundings in Summer. Will definitely be going back when the lads get their next entry into Mega Avalanche.....thank you all, a holiday to remember! (The beds are wonderfully comfortable...I could go on and on....)
